1. Who we are

2. Acceptance
Using Lumiboo, including as a guest, means agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Accounts are for adults (18+): parents or guardians. Children may listen to stories, but don't create accounts.
3. The service
Lumiboo makes AI-generated, personalized bedtime stories with AI narration and background sounds.
- Free tier: 1 story with narration.
- Premium: a monthly subscription (see section 7 and the Pricing page).
4. AI-generated content
Stories and narration are created by AI: Anthropic's Claude writes the stories, and ElevenLabs creates the voice and sound.
We use age-appropriate guidelines and safety filters, but AI can make mistakes, so please listen first or supervise, and use your judgment.
Stories are entertainment, not educational, medical or psychological advice.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use the service for anything unlawful, fraud or spam;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property;
- enter harmful or inappropriate inputs;
- try to bypass safety filters or usage limits;
- scrape, probe or interfere with the service's security;
- resell stories at scale.
6. Content and intellectual property
We own Lumiboo, its software, design and brand.
You may use the stories created for your family for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You keep any rights you have in what you type.
Please don't enter other people's personal information beyond what's needed (for example, a child's first name or nickname).
7. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Premium is $5.99/month (taxes may apply, calculated by Paddle).
- It renews monthly until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- It includes up to 60 stories per month with narration. Unused stories don't roll over.
- Optional extra story packs for Premium members ($5.99 for 60 stories, one-time payment). Pack stories are used after your monthly allowance.
- Prices may change; we'll tell you before your next renewal.
8. Refunds
You can request a full refund within 14 days of any Premium charge (the first payment or a renewal), as long as no more than 2 stories were created in that billing period.
Above 2 stories, that charge doesn't qualify, because the stories and narration have already been generated at a real cost.
Extra story packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase if unused.
Email refund@lumiboo.app from your account email, or request it directly through Paddle at paddle.net. Refunds are issued by Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, to the original payment method.
Cancelling stops future renewals; refunds follow the rules above.
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under applicable consumer law.

9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account for material breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or serious or repeated violations.
You can delete your account anytime in Settings.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.
11. Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its date. We'll tell you about material changes in the app or by email.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY], without limiting the consumer protections where you live.
